摘要: Abstract This research studies the self-healing potential of cement-based materials incorporating calcium sulfoaluminate based expansive additive (CSA) and crystalline (CA). Mortar specimens were used throughout study. At age 28 days, pre-cracked to introduce a surface crack width between 100 400 μm. Thereafter, submerged in water create process. The experimental results indicated that mixtures with CSA CA showed favorable closing ability. optimal mix design was found be ternary blend Portland cement, 10 wt.% 1.5 wt.% CA, by which up about 400 μm completely closed, rate passing dropped zero within 28 days. It hypothesized amount leached Ca 2+ from matrix plays an important role on precipitation carbonate is major healing product. analyses those CSA/CA additions released more than control specimen. Moreover, additives had higher pH value would favor precipitation.
