摘要: Children from low-income families are more likely to have dental disease and less regular care. Children's dental-related illnesses responsible for than 880,000 lost school days each year. The lack of reliable state-level data often makes monitoring the oral health children a challenge. By conducting screenings, nurses could promote prevention early identification problems aid in collection data. This innovative project used convenience sample students test caries detection device. Grades 3 6 (n = 2,622) received screening by nurse using noninvasive laser fluorescent Findings revealed that 82% referred dentists School can contribute improving status school-age population referrals evaluation.
