摘要: Abiotic and biotic stresses severely suppress plant growth crop yield. Development utilization of stress-tolerant varieties is an efficient approach to reduce yield loss as a result all sorts harmful conditions. Current strategies used create more crops include such methods genetic engineering. Plant engineering for abiotic tolerance are dependent upon the expression genes that involved in signaling regulatory pathways or encode proteins conferring stress enzymes present leading synthesis functional structural metabolites. Consequently, further progress enhancing resistance various will rely on gene discoveries. Sweetpotato (Ipomoea batatas (L.) Lam.) one major staple world feeds millions people developing countries. This resilient, easily propagated crop, growing well infertile nitrogen poor soils. Even though being hardy by nature, sweetpotato faced with production constraints caused stresses. review intends focus achievements molecular cloning tolerance-related from sweetpotato, oxidative genes, encoding transcription factors, disease other specific defensive system. Keywords Sweetpotato; Environmental stresses; Stress-tolerant genes; Molecular clonings
