摘要: Enterococcus species are one of the leading causes nosocomial infections, which difficult to treat specially with rise its Vancomycin resistant. Studies isolates are essential for epidemiological investigation. Typing Enterococci is often based on traditional phenotypic as well as genotypic methods. In this study Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy is used a novel approach typing Enterococci. FTIR spectroscopy results compared antibiotic susceptibility testing and PCR amplification of Vancomycin gene results; analysis showed that, 6 isolates were positive for Van (4 VanA, 1 VanB VanA plus VanB). Three plus VanB resistant all tested (Ampicillin, Teicoplamin Vancomycin) was found be sensitive. FTIR spectroscopy (first derivatives) divided into 8 groups. 3 groups isolates), (one isolate), VanB (one isolate) other 13 3 clusters. The demonstrated that spectroscopy has good discriminative capacity high reproducibility techniques.
