Nutritional Aspects of Daucus Carota Somatic Embryo Cultures Performed in Bioreactors

摘要: Daucus carota somatic embryos (SE) were produced in 2-L helical-ribbon-impeller bioreactors operated under low shear mixing (60 RPM) and dissolved oxygen concentration (20% of air saturation) by surface oxygenation only. These conditions have been found previously to yield better SE cultures. cultures performed using Gamborg’s B5 medium supplemented with 30 g·L-1 sucrose increasing concentrations ammonium ion. Results showed true production respect NH4 as well bioreactor compared flask Furthermore, chromatographic analysis their allowed determination nutritional behavior all macronutrients. Thus limiting (carbohydrates, NH4, PO4 Ca) less used (Na Cl) extracellular nutrients could be identified. This approach offers tremendous opportunities for the development improved media optimization plant cell culture bioprocesses.
