摘要: Biogas major components are methane, carbon dioxide and traces of hydrogen sulfide, ammonia nitrogen. upgrading process is the by which (composing 40 % biogas) removed. In this study chemical absorption using three different solvents (10 – 30 monoethanolamine, 4 12 sodium hydroxide 5 15 aqueous ammonia) was performed to produce methane-enriched biogas. A laboratory-scale packed-column apparatus containing efficient cheap packing material (plastic bioball) used perform experimental work in study. Initial runs were select best solvent type concentration. Monoethanolamine (MEA) proven have highest ability producing upgraded biogas a single column at ambient conditions. The liquid gas flow ratio investigated MEA solution. Optimum for determined be about 18 (on mass basis). with methane content up 96.1 v/v% produced CO2 loading capacity 0.24 mole-CO2 per mole-MEA.
