摘要: The crystalloid inclusion bodies induced by treatment of sea urchin eggs with the dimeric alkaloid vinblastine sulfate have been isolated and characterized. crystals contain equimolar amounts two protein components which are separable on basis charge using urea/polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. Sodium dodecyl electrophoresis indicates that both a molecular weight 55,000. Amino-acid analyses indicate component polypeptide chains similar but chemically different. On electrophoretic mobility, weights, amino-acid compositions drug-binding characteristics, appear to be microtubule subunits. These findings further support idea cytoplasmic microtubules heteropolymers.
