摘要: Cambodia is one of the least developed countries in world, and presents major challenges to provision effective healthcare. Partners Telemedicine, a non-profit organization based Boston, MA, leading pilot project assess whether accurate diagnosis treatment can be provided by email patients remote locales developing world. This project, rural Cambodia, has had beneficial impact on public health communities served. There been reduced demand for acute care services, with seeking earlier adhering better their prescribed regimens chronic diseases, illustrates potential simple communications technology improve care, even some most impoverished communities. However, infrastructure must improved enable patients, particular cancer receive that only distant Phnom Penh.
