Prevalence of aquatic entomofauna, the predators of mosquitoes, in the Zayandeh River of Central Iran

摘要: Abstract Objective To determine the fauna of aquatic insects in Zayandeh River Isfahan carried out Tehran University Medical Sciences 2011. Methods This study was performed Isfahan, central Iran River. a descriptive study. Having fulfilled sampling for several times, we collected nearly 76 samples from different parts river. Then they were sealed an individual jars containing some water obtained their habitat. Next, put 70% ethylic alcohol. Results A total matured obtained. Among them, order Hemiptera which most prevalent including two families: gerridae (n=27, 35.52%), and notonectidae (n=11, 14.47%). Other found belonging to Odonata family coenagrionidae (n=12, 15.78%), coleoptera Carabidae (n=15, 19.73%) prostigmata Hydrachindae first faunestic Iran. Conclusions The results are appropriate future researches detect more ecological aspects arthropods role biological control vectors transmit disease human animals.
