摘要: There are growing needs to measure the thermal properties of small-volume liquid samples in various fields bioengineering and microfluidics. Accordingly, there have been efforts toward miniaturization sensing device without substantially sacrificing sensitivity. The minimum sample volume required for quantitative analysis is currently 10 nl scale. In this work, we describe microfabricated sensors a modified three-omega data-analysis scheme determine conductivity k volumetric heat capacity ρcp few hundred picoliters. experiments using several reference liquids, technique measured 750 375 pl samples. measurement accuracies were ∼10% ∼15% ρcp.
