摘要: Properties of liquid film breakup were observed for shock-wave-initiated disturbances in air at normal temperature and pressure. Test liquids included water various glycerol mixtures. High speed camera multiple-spark high utilized to record the process breakup. Phase Doppler Particle Analyzer (PDPA) was also adopted droplet size velocity. Experimental results showed that viscosity played a vital role deformation, atomization film. After interaction shock waves, mixtures significantly smaller than either one glycerol. Richtmyer-Meshkov instability (RMI) an important factor induced by waves. Furthermore, dispersal model established study mechanisms The correlation between velocity has been revealed quantitatively. Research may provide improved understanding film, have implications many fields, especially heterogeneous detonations gas/liquid
