摘要: Abstract Reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatographic (HPLC) behavior of fluorescent labeled phospholipids (PLs) was studied. Molecular species phosphatidylethanolamine (PE) derivatized with fluorescein-, thiocarbamoyl-, pyrenesulfonyl-, and dimethylaminonaphthalenesulfonyl (dansyl)-fluorophores were separated on octadecylsilica a mobile phase acetonitrilemethanol- water in the presence tetraalkylammonium phosphates (TAAPs). Under similar HPLC conditions, dansylated phosphatidylserines PE plasmalogens (ether-linked PLs) also resolved. Incorporation fluorescein moiety to parent appeared facilitate further resolution its subcomponents. Subcomponents derived from egg phosphatidylcholines quantifiable. Effects type concentration TAAP capacity factors PL solutes indicative an ion-pair separation processes. high-molecular-mass TAAPs favored components that remained unresolved phases containing low-molecular- mass TAAPS. The HPLC-fluorescence detection method provided useful approach quantitative analyses various structures. Compositions subcomponents determined directly peak areas.
