Supporting distributed collaborations between mobile health workers and expert clinicians in home care

摘要: The use of collaboration technology to allow community health workers, who provide care in patients' homes, be supported by remote expert clinicians can enhance the quality home services. We have explored design two tools enable a worker discuss patient details with clinician and guided when performing physical examination patient. One is hand-held tablet-based designed support real-time communication information sharing, shared annotation on data as well recording rich media annotations for asynchronous review after visits. second tool wearable unit consisting computer, camera near-eye display enables hand gestures remotely guide examinations. In this paper we describe our considerations outline approaches.
