摘要: The susceptibility of rocks to weathering into soils and the subsequent solum itself are important both with respect sediment formation agriculture. Residual developed on some rock types representative major soil associations NE Scotland have consequently been examined in detail an attempt assess weatherability derived soils. Methods based chemical composition supplemented by potential methods related production poorly-ordered aluminosilicate material depolymerisation silicate framework minerals present. In general, there is, as would be expected basis increasing energy supply entropy, increase amount monomeric silica towards surface this appears closely nature aluminosilicate. results suggest that only purely can currently enable a reasonable assessment made or further weathering.
