Selective management of gunshot wounds to the neck. Report of a series and review of the literature.

摘要: Thirty-two patients with gunshot wounds to the neck, 13 multiple pellet injuries and 19 single missile injuries, were managed selectively. Although 3 of 32 died in hospital, no death was attributable neck injury. This experience a review literature support concept selective management penetrating intervention based on specific indications.
