摘要: We report a case of sudden unexpected death due to late onset neonatal group B streptococcal sepsis. A male neonate weighing 2731 g was born at 35 week gestational age, and discharged the age 4 days after birth. At 6 discharge (10 birth), because consciousness loss hypothermia, conveyed an emergency hospital, eventually followed by his death. Forensic autopsy revealed neither severe trauma nor cardiac anomaly. Both lungs were edematous. Histopathologically, lot bacterial clusters found in intracerebral vessels. Cerebrospinal fluid contained leukocytes. Streptococcus agalactiae detected specimens from feces blood. Collectively, we diagnosed that cause neonate’s In cases neonates, careful macroscopic microscopic observations bacteriological/virological examination should be performed.
