摘要: Abstract Selected mega- and microfloras from Central Southern Europe have been analysed for the time interval Tortonian/Pannonian (MN 9–12) with Coexistence Approach to obtain quantitative palaeoclimate data. The results give a geographically differentiated picture of Late Miocene climate in circum-Alpine area. Spatial patterns are presented maps mean annual temperature, temperature coldest month, warmest precipitation, range temperature. obtained data show an overall warm, humid, homogenous very low latitudinal longitudinal gradients; there is no indication Mediterranean type climate. Palaeogeographic influences on evident; Pannonian Lake caused mild winters lower seasonality basin.
