摘要: A total of 48 gilts were used to evaluate the effects a corn-soybean meal diet with or without vitamin E and Se fed on pasture in confinement. The these treatments gilt serum tissue alpha-tocopherol concentrations those their progeny at weaning (28 d) evaluated. During gestation, experiment was 2 x factorial arrangement split-plot design that compared housing system (pasture confinement) effect diets fortified (22 IU/kg) (.3 ppm). lactation study evaluating two systems during gestation only when unfortified basal diet. E- Se-supplemented remained either confinement both reproductive phases served as positive controls. Gilts bled breeding, 30, 60, 90 d postcoitum, farrowing, d). Three pigs per litter from all litters weaning. Six treatment group killed livers collected. Pasture lots contained orchardgrass, ryegrass, alfalfa; different each phase.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)
