摘要: A DSL communication apparatus with lifeline functionality is provided, the (3) in particular being suitable for CVoDSL (“Channelized Voice over Digital Subscriber Line”) transmission. The comprises a central processing unit (11) which detects local power failure state of supply (23) associated (3). In this case, changes operation from normal mode to an intermediate mode, generates interrupt stopping voice coprocessor (8), initializes download firmware FLASH memory (12) and then starts new initialization (8). Thereafter, by switching auxiliary (20) coupled transmission line (1).
