摘要: Abstract We studied differences in age, longevity, and sexual maturity island mainland populations of the neotropical toad Rhinella ornata to assess how changes characteristics relate evolution insular dwarfism. Here we tested hypothesis that effects rule results earlier maturity. sampled males from three (Ilha Grande, Ilha da Marambaia de Itacuruca) four adjacent sites state Rio Janeiro, Brazil.
