摘要: The formation of C–C bonds between the carbonaceous intermediates generated during electrocatalytic CO2 reduction reaction (CO2RR) is key in producing high-value multi-carbon products. At present, Cu-based electrocatalysts are most promising for this purpose. However, critical challenges concerning their selectivity, stability and energy efficiency remain. Recently, some non-Cu-based have been reported to exhibit excellent product selectivity at low overpotentials, even able produce molecules that were not detected on electrodes. This sets a new direction which novel non-Cu could be explored. These recent advances summarized review. We focus CO2RR products electrodes aqueous electrolytes under ambient conditions, with an emphasis bond mechanisms. current corresponding strategies catalysts also discussed.
