摘要: The immune system is central to health and tools measure its dynamic function are critically needed in research clinical settings. Molecular imaging modalities such as optical imaging, positron emission tomography (PET), computed tomography, magnetic resonance enable noninvasive longitudinal studies of throughout the body. In vivo molecular small animals have revealed patterns cell localization, trafficking, that cannot be obtained using conventional monitoring methods. This chapter reviews applications PET study trafficking function, models disease, cancer immunotherapies with an assessment challenges facing field.
