Sonography in wrist tendon pathology

摘要: Wrist tendons may be affected by a variety of pathologic conditions, including those caused trauma and overuse, inflammatory metabolic disorders, or infection. Sonography is very sensitive means detecting tendinous pathology because its spatial resolution comparative dynamic capabilities. Its wide availability makes it the preferred first-line imaging modality in case wrist pain. This article reviews conditions that involve their sonographic appearances.
