摘要: The circumstances of the total solar eclipse August 31, 1932, are so favorable for a study effects shadow on atmosphere that Blue Kill Observatory has undertaken collection and analysis data in considerable detail at many places near path shadow. An appropriation from Milton Fund Harvard University will be utilized equipping about twelve stations within shadow-path with recording instruments requisite sensitiveness it is hoped other belt 90 per cent totality can supplied simpler apparatus direct observations.
