摘要: Abstract An electrofishing device and sampling procedure was developed to sample lotic microhabitats. The consists of a rectangular electrode frame powered by an alternating current generator. very effective in immobilizing fish within the frame. A time delay between setting frames permitted period without disturbance prior sampling. No significant correlations were found capture rates delays greater than 11 minutes. Consistent results obtained repeated variety microhabitats single stream reach. allows multispecies abundances be quantified with regard discrete units microhabitat priori designs used.
