摘要: Abstract Production of biogas from energy crops agricultural origin is regarded as a promising alternative to decrease dependence on non-renewable sources. A model was built evaluate the handling system comprising harvest, transport and ensiling forage intended for production CH4-enriched vehicle fuel. The applied full-scale plant in Sweden producing organic household waste forage. Timeliness, capacity harvesting costs were studied by varying design, distance, field size dry matter (DM) yield. Matching harvest essential minimising time required resultant costs. However, this study showed that keeping sufficiently high avoid idle did not necessarily result lowest By adapting system, it possible reduce 30% when average distance decreased 17 8.5 km. with production, optimal later than normal dates milk since lower per kg DM compensated higher As long started days calculated being respect value timeliness made up less 4% total depending chosen. When start deviated optimal, increased substantially. Delayed had even larger impact
