摘要: The central composite process optimization was performed by response surface methodology technique using a design for the treatment of methyltin mercaptide with modified semi-coke. semi-coke from coal industry suitably treating it phosphoric acid, thermal activation process. objective is to reduce chemical oxygen demand (COD) and NH4+-N in industrial effluent. variables considered are dosage, adsorption time effluent pH. optimized conditions identified be dosage 80 g/L, 90 min pH value 8.34. ANOVA results indicate that adsorbent significant parameters, while insignificant, possibly owing large range chosen. textural characteristics were analyzed scanning electron microscopy nitrogen isotherm. average BET area estimated 915 m2/g, pore volume 0.71 cm3/g diameter 3.09 nm, micropore contributing 52.36%.
