摘要: Twelve femoral heads (two normal, four after fracture and six osteoarthritic) were obtained at surgery or autopsy. Circumferential slices five separate areas analyzed in each for ash content; histological-histochemical grading of the severity cartilage changes; quantitative morphometric analyses to establish percentage trabecular area, osteoblastic area osteoclastic area.
