摘要: In this letter design of a novel, wideband and low loss microstrip line transition to ridge gap waveguide is described. The made up two sections. first section that feeds slot on the ground plane. placed inside metal box. second part matching section. proposed has broadband coupling covers whole stop-band periodic structure. optimization performed for line, size ridges. A prototype in Ku-band manufactured measured shows return less than 14 dB back-to-back insertion smaller 0.5 given bandwidth. enables integration monolithic microwave integrated circuits (MMICs) technology.
