摘要: The conversion of 1-acyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphorylinositol-3H into phosphatidylinositol-3H was studied using rat liver microsomal and homogenate preparations. nature the molecular species phosphatidyl inositol so formed in absence added acyl moieties determined after fractionating radioactive product by means argentation thin layer chromatography. In other experiments, possible specificity acyl-CoA:1-acyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphorylinositol acyltransferase towards different acyl-CoA derivatives investigated. Maximum 1-acyl GPI to diacyl analogue dependent on addition adenosine triphosphate CoA when exogensou groups were omitted from incubation medium. Under these latter conditions, tetraenoic comprised 56-74% total newly-formed phosphatidylinositol. showed a marked preference for arachidonoyl-CoA. present results suggest that enrichment arachidonic acid may arise 1-acyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphorylinositol is acylated form
