摘要: We report the thermoresponsive behavior in aqueous solution of amphiphilic diblock co-oligomers ethylene glycol (EG) and styrene (S) obtained by reversible addition fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) polymerization (mPEG16-b-PS2, mPEG16-b-PS4 mPEG16-b-PS6). The block were from mediated a PEG macro-RAFT agent, mPEG-PBTC. precise control offered RAFT over length short hydrophobic permits tuning for all studied methoxy poly(ethylene glycol)-block-polystyrene copolymers. mPEG16-b-PS2 was shown to self-assemble into micelles at temperatures below lower critical temperature (LCST) co-oligomer, whilst no such observed solutions self-assembled mPEG16-b-PS6. self-assembles relatively mobile spherical particles which evolve prolate spheroids with increasing temperature, mPEG16-b-PS6 forms particle clusters, have mobility than particles. This work is first study on aggregation lengths mPEG-b-PS as function shows how PS oligomer assemblies water.
