摘要: Very few studies have addressed the breeding ecology of Kingfisher, especially in Britain. The fish diet Kingfishers was studied from 3 watersheds New Forest, Hampshire using analysis regurgitated prey remains collected nest tunnels and chambers. Diagnostic bones each 5 species were selected to identify represented remains. From reference material, linear dimensions bone for recognition related total length; dietary reconstructions could thus estimate size structure as well frequency.
