摘要: Natural bentonite clay was used in the synthesis of single and mixed oxide Al/Zr pillared catalysts by means ultrasonic treatment during aging intercalation steps. The raw were characterized using high resolution scanning electron microscopy with energy dispersive system (HRSEM-EDS), powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD), N2 adsorption/desorption, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, cation exchange capacity, zeta potential all evaluated catalytic wet air oxidation (CWAO) phenol. Calcination synthesized Al/Zr-PILCs at 500 °C for 120 min yielded optimum physical properties BET surface area 230 m2/g, pore volume 0.115 cm3/g basal spacing 1.92 nm good thermal stability. Complete removal phenol obtained after 88% TOC removed 180 min aqueous solution under mild reaction conditions 100 °C 10 bar after. Catalyst reusability studies showed that catalyst demonstrated excellent chemical structural stability insignificant leaching Zr4+ six consecutive runs. therefore CWAO solution.
