摘要: E-learning adoption in universities is a very challenging field of Information Systems that consist the challenges at two levels – user level and institutional level. Various higher institutions learning have come to terms with eminent need for change order allow successful integration impact technology education. The ability cope these changes, right from pre-to-post e-learning adoption, has been major challenge management various education (HEIs). This paper aims revisiting (IS) approaches previously employed by several studies investigating adopting technologies Universities, aim identifying gap between theory practice addressing challenges. review considered 13 international conference academic papers 52 journal articles sourced high ranked journals relevant study, validated through multi-step manual cross-checking based on carefully selected extraction quality criteria. results indicate 37% reviewed use quantitative approach while 29% used qualitative method their study current faced universities. implies there growing interest research IS even though methods are still slightly dominant this domain. Based findings, both practitioners researchers appreciate differences methodologies varying applicability. concludes should together clearly redefine scope methodologies.
