摘要: GABA(A) receptor-mediated synaptic transmission is responsible for inhibitory control of neural function in the brain. Recent progress has shown that receptors also provide a wide range additional functions beyond simple inhibition. This diversity mediated by large variety different interneuron classes acting on diverse population receptor subtypes. Here, I will focus an source GABAergic signaling diversity, caused highly variable ion mechanism receptors. In concert with other two sources heterogeneity, this variability allows array effects are crucial development brain and its function.
