摘要: Appropriate therapy is dependent on accurate staging to determine those amenable surgery and define the appropriate role for chemotherapy radiation therapy. Imaging plays a critical in patients with non-small cell lung cancer. While mediastinoscopy still considered gold standard mediastinal staging, imaging beneficial that it noninvasive highly accurate, especially when anatomic physiologic information acquired simultaneously through integrated 18F-FDG PET/CT systems.
