Development of Density Functional Theory for Plasmon-Assisted Superconductivity

摘要: A new scheme of density functional theory (DFT) for unconventional superconductivity is reviewed.To include the effect charge fluctuations such as low-energy plasmons or excitons, we extendthe conventional formalism superconducting DFT where dynamical structure screened Coulomb interaction neglected.We applied present method to fcc Li under high pressure. We show that agreement between thetheory and experiment considerably improved. The result indicates cancooperate with phonons enhance pairing instability.
