摘要: Actinomycosis is a rare but easily curable infection that should be considered in the differential diagnosis of perianal fistulizing disease. We present case 26-year-old woman with complex fistulae, including trans-sphincteric and suprasphincteric fistulous tracts rectovaginal fistula, requiring multiple abscess drainages, seton placement, antibiotic courses, little improvement. After extensive investigation, Actinomyces spp. was identified anal cytology. The patient underwent 6-week course intravenous penicillin followed by oral amoxicillin, remarkable This illustrates importance pursuing less common diagnoses refractory disease, such as actinomycosis.
