摘要: Despite the widespread application of concept quality life in mental health evaluation, it has been observed that subjective measures do not reliably capture changes expected to result from intervention efforts. Moreover, because domains selected assess are typically generated by investigators or professionals, validity also questioned. Although represents a conceptual shift investigator-generated client-elicited domains, is suggested approach measuring may provide fruitful avenues for resolving some and practical issues associated with understanding impact community-based programs on clients serious illness. Accordingly, while acknowledging utility assessing objective circumstances people's lives, this paper suggests have potential resolve failure existing register meaningful change. Unlike previous general reviews emphasized measurement issues, present review considers fundamental barriers our ability adequately understand document experiences people adjusting community living psychiatric disability.
