摘要: Cementoblasts share many of the features osteoblast phenotype. To investigate their expression cell surface receptors for parathyroid hormone (PTH) (i) unlabelled PTH was bound to tissue sections and subsequently detected with anti-PTH monoclonal antibodies; (ii) digoxigenin (DIG)-labelled applied anti-DIG antibodies. The use non-radioactive DIG-labelled represents a novel approach immunodetection in situ. binding sites by cementoblasts cellular, but not acellular, cementum demonstrated. immunoreactivity weaker than that seen osteoblasts, mainly confined fully formed roots. These results suggest functional erupted teeth may be responsive stimulation further support idea osteoblasts similar
