摘要: A 2.5 year sequence of CCD photometry on DW UMa has shown an unusaul 4 magnitude fall and rise in the light curve. The appears relatively smooth regular, unlike transitions other high state/low state systems. effect could be due to solar-type magnetic variations secondary cataclysmic variable. Some observational as well theoretical work suggests that a nova prior outburst may show photometric behavior similar displayed by UMa.
