摘要: Abstract The aim of this study was to compare the effects different gums on glycemic and lipidemic parameters in patients with hyperlipidemia. Sixty were divided into four groups 15 individuals each group. Group 1 selected as control. Groups 2, 3, 4 consumed 300 mL apple juice enriched bitter almond, tragacanth xanthan gum, respectively. After 6-week intervention, bodyweight, BMI, serum TG, hyperinsulinemia HOMA-IR significantly decreased subjects almond gum-enriched when no significant differences observed for other parameters. effect gum better than all tested. findings suggest that some identified bioactive compounds might be responsible its it can a possible food supplements management overweight, obesity
