摘要: To analyse preferences for disclosure of cancer diagnosis and prognosis among physicians practising in Kuwait, a cross-sectional survey was conducted public hospitals both urban suburban parts the country, which included likely to encounter adult patients their practice. A total 217 participated, 67% indicating they preferred full complete patients. However, 79% those would withhold truth if patient s family requested them do so. Preference concealment more common who had experienced directly with friend or member, were medical as opposed surgical specialties. The belief that Kuwait did not want hear about also significantly associated preference. Changes norms expectations should be monitored, because seem play major role preference prognosis.
