摘要: During the 2009 influenza A(H1N1) pandemic, a new laboratory-based virological sentinel surveillance system, Respiratory DataMart System (RDMS), was established in network of 14 Health Protection Agency (now Public England (PHE)) and National Service (NHS) laboratories England. Laboratory results (both positive negative) were systematically collected from all routinely tested clinical respiratory samples for range viruses including influenza, syncytial virus (RSV), rhinovirus, parainfluenza virus, adenovirus human metapneumovirus (hMPV). The RDMS also monitored occurrence antiviral resistance viruses. Data 2009–2012 period showed that pandemic caused three waves activity with different intensities during post periods. Peaks A(H1N1)pdm09 positivity (defined as number per total tested) seen summer autumn 2009, slightly higher peak observed first post-pandemic season 2010/2011. strain almost completely disappeared second postpandemic 2011/2012. findings are consistent other existing community-based systems. With large sample size, this system provides robust supplementary mechanism, through collection available laboratory data at minimum extra cost, to monitor well activity. A near real-time, daily reporting mechanism London 2012 Olympic Paralympic Games. Furthermore, can be quickly adapted used future pandemics major outbreaks infectious disease, novel pathogens.
