摘要: This study examines the effect of increased Medicaid reimbursements for primary care services in 2013 and 2014, a key provision Affordable Care Act, on access to care. The researchers measured availability waiting times appointments enrollees privately insured individuals 10 states during two periods: from November 2012 through March May 2014 July 2014. Between time periods, beneficiaries 58.7 percent 66.4 percent, while no changes were observed insured. During same scheduled new-patient appointment remained stable. These results suggest that reimbursement providers was associated with improved without generating longer times.
