Indeed, treating these soldiers, clinicians may continue same traumatic as their clients. The purpose this phenomenological study was understand describe shared trauma resilience professionals who deployed. concept defined experiences faced they attempted deliver clinical services simultaneously addressing issue within own lives. explored how stressful situations were interpreted relation individuals’ overall life experiences. principle research question examined described dilemmas navigate personal professional aspects trauma. This utilized purposive sample 7 veterans during Operation Iraqi Freedom Enduring Freedom. Data collected through semi-structured interviews analyzed using Moustakas’s 5 steps heuristic analysis. Key findings indicated participants’ interpretations involved posttraumatic growth, lessons learned, changes belief systems. Findings assist leaders developing support protection programs overwhelmed population, ensuring service members receive proper care are entitled.With entitled.
