摘要: Muscle relaxants are widely used for general anesthesia and may be responsible IgE-dependent anaphylactic reactions (AR). A controversial issue in the field of drug allergy is whether ARs more frequent or severe atopic subjects. Thus, we performed a case-control study comparing distribution various clinical biologic signs atopy. The case group included 32 patients with history AR to suxamethonium, most commonly muscle relaxant. control 128 subjects, matched according age, gender, socioeconomic status. consisted mainly young middle-aged women. Distribution symptoms suggestive atopy skin tests specific IgE common aeroallergens was similar both groups. In contrast, total serum level much higher group, suggesting presence against suxamethonium other drugs. despite previous studies literature, not risk factor occurrence relaxants. As pure model an allergy, our data do support relationship between allergic reactions.
