摘要: Nitrogen desorption scanning hysteresis loops (DSHLs) for large-pore MCM-41 silicas (pore diameter from 4.0 to 6.5 nm) are reported the first time. DSHLs were compared with those of conventional mesoporous and no appreciable differences found, although latter usually broader. Since behavior porous is appreciably influenced by pore connectivity, observed similarity in suggests single-pore “blocking effects” due variation along its nonintersecting channels. It was also shown that steepness nitrogen branches at relative pressures close 0.4 often results proximity lower pressure limit adsorption-desorption irreversibility consequently it not justified consider as an indication narrow size distribution. Thus, application data calculations distributions may be grossly misleading.
