摘要: In order to know whether environmentally relevant concentration of deltamethrin (DM), which is widely used in both agricultural and urban environments, interferes with reproductive capacity the present experiment is designed. Fe undity and fertility rates were calculated after exposing eight dult male and eight adult female zebrafish (Danio rerio) to 2µg 5µg DM per liter every day for a period 6 days revealed decrement cessation. Estrogenic potential was also evaluated by measuring the levels vitellogenin (VTG) serum 17β-estradiol (E ) female. VTG did not show much change female fish whereas male increment observed increase exposure time indicating estrogenecity toxicant. Attenuation E 2 11-ketotestosterone (11-KT) noticed exposed signifying interference reproductive endocrine system. Histological changes like degenerated oocytes, follicles, disappearance nucleolar details lack nuclei lining epithelial cells ovary epithelium spermatids spermatogonia, seminiferous tubular membrane vacuolar testis were DM. These could be possible reasons reduction eggproduction under toxicit y.
