Temperature and isotopic relations in the Middle Miocene sandstones from the Ukrainian Carpathian Foredeep Basin - a reconnaissance study

摘要: Studies of the Middle Miocene sandstones in selected wells from western Ukraine concerned calcite cements, both isotopic and fluid inclusion aspects. The aim reconnaissance study was to find out – constraints for cements sandstones. studied are subarkosic, sporadically sublithic arenites. δ13CVPDB values range –7.8‰ –1.3‰, δ18OVPDB vary –8.8 –4.7‰. Calcite cement crystallized temperature interval about 32°C 55°C. Homogenization temperatures inclusions correspond general low depending on character (brine, carbon dioxide). Based pairs trapped together cement, trapping conditions have been estimated below 60°C 375 bars that concur with results determinations re-calculations.
